Is your boat afloat?

The staff prayer for today focused on giving staff an opportunity to consider how they were travelling on an emotional, physical and spiritual level. We engaged the senses through the use of Tibetan Singing Bowls and used the visual metaphor of a paper boat sitting upon a still water. The following quote, which was tweeted by Jonathan Doyle @beingcatholic1 provided stimulus for considering the importance of finding a moment to pause through the busyness of each day. The following prayer emerged from the Marist Association prayer resources and provided a beautiful reflection to slow our souls, encourage reflection on God and to sit with the silence.

LET YOUR GOD LOVE YOU

Be silent. Be still. Alone. Empty. Before your God, say nothing, ask nothing. Be silent, be still. Let your God look upon you. That is all. He knows, he understands, he loves you with an enormous love. He only wants to look upon you with His love. Quiet. Still. Be. Let your God love you." - Anonymous
